During the past few months, mental health has been an important issue that needs to be addressed. While it might not be easy to identify, it is there lurking in the background due to the situation we have all been put in. While staying at home might seem like a trivial or easy thing to do, being locked up and the constant panic all around us can lead to various mental health issues and breakdowns.
If that’s not enough, having your responsibilities as a wife, mother, teacher, chef, and entertainer challenged while trying to take care of those around you is overwhelming on its own. To help you get through that and understand the importance of mental health, Rahet Bally has teamed up with several mental health professionals to help you get their insights, knowledge, and recommendations on various topics.
This mental health campaign -also known as #Ra7aMental- is an awareness campaign to remind all of you Rahet Bally mamas that you’re not alone and that your favourite mommy platform is here to help you through this difficult phase.
For our mental health campaign #Ra7aMental, Dr. Noha El Nahas, founder of Heal Counseling Center, has a positive message for all pregnant ladies out there in the below video:
In the next video, Dr. Noha El Nahas tells us how to gradually handle this sudden exit from lockdown.
As part of our mental health awareness campaign, Alaa Hadad shared with us her journey with postpartum depression. In the below video, Hadad tells us how it all started, how everyone reacted, mistakes she’s made, treatment methods, and how she overcame it. Thank you Alaa for coming forward with your story that will help thousands of moms out there.
And last but not least, here’s a message from Rahet Bally mamas who gave birth during COVID-19 full of hope and positivity for any mom-to-be.
