While securing the SAT exams has been an ongoing issue in Egypt for the past few years, it is unfair, unprofessional and completely disastrous for the College Board to just decide to cancel exams all together. It is their job to secure the tests and prevent leakage in order to give the students a fair chance in obtaining the deserved results.

The SAT cancellation has put students in American schools’ future at risk. During the previous academic year, the students had to go through a cancellation for the March SAT rounds due to the weather conditions in Egypt causing a problem for the graduating seniors who lost their chance at improving their scores.
However, things only got worse when the College Board cancelled all further examinations for the previous academic year due to the outbreak of coronavirus in an attempt to ensure the safety of the students.
