We know this is a difficult period and that we’re all bored out of our minds, but with coronavirus cases on the rise every single day, we need to be cautious. Now more than ever, it’s important to stay home and take as many precautions to stop the curve from growing immensely.
Unfortunately, many Egyptians were seen to act foolish, selfish, and very irresponsible by flocking to El Gouna to celebrate Eid in groups. Our Instagram was buzzing with parties with tens of people together, sharing a pool. It’s obvious that the virus has not yet reached its peak and already hospitals are full and the medical industry is crashing. So, how can Egyptians be so reckless, selfish, and only think about having a good time when a global pandemic is occurring?

While it’s useless to point fingers and call out influencers, celebrities, and other Egyptians who have been acting foolishly, we urge you to be sensible and remain self-isolated at home for the next 14 days.
Many cases coming back from El Gouna have been found positive and mingling with others can put the rest of the population at risk. Is a bit of fun in the sun really worth dying over or putting your loved ones at risk? Do you not see that your actions are only prolonging the pandemic and keeping the virus alive?

We all know that the main reason coronavirus is such a big deal is because it is extremely contagious and spreads like wildfire. So please, be responsible for once and isolate yourself not only from going out but also from your family members and those you deal with on a daily basis.
Over the past week, our Facebook has become no joke. Every few seconds someone we know directly loses their battle to coronavirus or posts about losing a loved one. We’re not talking about numbers, cases, or reading about it in the news anymore. But, instead, it is our family members, our friends, and those we know on a personal level who are dying. It’s time to take this seriously and try and fix the damage we’ve all been doing by staying home!
